Architectural designers needed

J.A.O. Design International is an award winning multi-discipline design firm based in Beijing which provides services for large-scale Urban Planning, Architectural Design, and Landscape Design in 50+ cities and provinces in China. We have planned more than 2400 square kilometers of new cities, designed more than 13 million m2 of apartment buildings, and more than 14 million m2 of hotels, offices, and public buildings. Since 2004, we have been rated by the Chinese Ministry of Construction as one of the top ten design firms in China. Our projects consist of high fashion corporate offices, hotels, high-end villas, vacation homes, cultural facilities, educational buildings, transportation hubs, high-end residential communities, and mixed-use projects. Due to our continued success and growth in public sector works, we now seek highly talented and creative people to join our Beijing office.

Senior Designers (Seeking two qualified candidates)

Must be a licensed architect and have won a major international design competition. A minimum of fifteen years of experience is required. Good presentation and leadership skills needed.

Salary: 480,000 to 720,000 RMB per year plus bonus and international medical insurance.
Term of employment: 2 years.

Architectural Designer (Seeking two qualified candidates)

Must have a professional degree from an accredited university with a min. of five years experience. Must have won at least two important design competitions. Strong graphic and computer skills needed.

Salary: 180,000-360,000 RMB per year plus bonus and international medical experience.
Term of employment: 2 years.

Interns (Seeking three candidates)

Graduated architect and planner with a Master’s degree from an accredited school with good graphic and computer skills. Must be top 5% of your graduating class with reference from your school professors.

Salary: 100,000-150,000 RMB a year plus international medical insurance.
Term of employment: 1 year.

Please note Chinese language ability is not required for these positions. Some understanding and a good respect of Chinese culture will be necessary. Once you are accepted, we will assist you in securing the necessary visa and housing within our office area, near the new American Embassy. All traveling on projects throughout China is provided by the company.

Architects, Civil Engineers, Planners and Landscape Architects

Lew Koerner, partner of an International A/E Firm located in Rome, Italy, is looking for senior professionals to work on this project. We have recently been awarded a Contract for Program Management Services for the Development of a North African Urban Area. The Program will include Project Management for Design and Construction Management Contracts for Building Construction Projects, Landscaping, Transportation Studies and Utilities Programs.

The realization of this Program includes Short Range and Long Range Programs that will be under design and construction for a number of years. Interested Professionals must be US Citizens or European Professionals educated in the USA. Applicants should take into consideration of the time frame as well as the frequent visits that will be required to the job site.
